Commit to a 12 month term, and get bonus credit that can be used to add machines, paid features and add ons.
What does ‘term commitment’ mean, anyway?
You’ve committed to a 12 month membership for the features and number of machines
you selected when you set up your commitment.
What if I add machines or features?
No problem! If you are within your commitment level (including bonus credits), you will be
charged as normal. If the cost exceeds the amount you have committed to, you will be
charged overuse.
You also have the option to increase your commitment level in Plant Assessor at any time.
Head to account details > billing tab.
What about overuse?
There are no restrictions on feature usage, so once you reach the limit, any additional
usage will be charged as overuse for the applicable period.
What happens at the end of my term?
Your term will change to month to month. You can recommit to another 12 months and
take advantage of extra features, bonus credits and more.
Until the renewal is agreed, you will continue to pay monthly subscription fees at the same
rate.
Commitment and Bonus
One of the many benefits when you Term Commit is your bonus credit. The bonus credit is calculated on a sliding scale. The more you spend, the more bonus credit you receive.
If you commit to $100 a month, you will receive a $20 bonus credit. The bonus credit essentially
extends your spending limit, enabling you to use more features/machines or add ons within Plant
assessor.
So if you have committed to $100, your spend limit will be to the value of $120, but you will only be billed $100 per your commitment. So essentially, you have an extra $20 of value on us!
This means you can add machines, paid features and add ons to the value of $120.
This might look like:
8 x Edge machines @$15 a machine per month = $120 per month, and you will only be billed for $100 per month.
What happens if I exceed my monthly spend limit?
There are no restrictions on feature usage, so once you reach the limit, any additional usage will be charged as overuse for the applicable period.
How does overuse work?
For example, if you have committed to $100 and have a spend limit of $120 due to your bonus
credit and add extra machines, add-ons or enable other paid features, your usage will increase.
If the increase exceeds your spend limit (Commitment + Bonus), you will be charged for the difference.
For example:
You have a Commitment of $100 and a bonus of $20. Your current usage is equal to $120.
You add 1 x new Plus level machine... This adds a total of $9 usage to your account, exceeding your $120 limit by $9. Therefore your Overusage is $9, and your monthly bill will be $100 committed + $9 of over usage equalling a total monthly bill of $109.
